Q.)  Please brief us about “Dickies”and share your success history to our readers.

In 1922, Dickies began making tough denim bib overalls for workers and ranchers in Fort Worth, Texas.  The company’s straight forward and functional approach to creating workwear to help workers in a variety of occupational roles optimize their performance on the jobsite has struck a chord around the world for those that appreciate quality and durability. Since then, Dickies has spent nearly a century crafting some of the most well-respected workwear available in more than 100 countries worldwide.

 

Q.)  Can you give more details about the “Dickies” safety product portfolio and its application ?

Dickies takes seriously the protection of our customers by providing safety in the form of durability, technical features, purposeful design details and outright protection products that meet or exceed industry standards. Dickies develops safety apparel, shoes and accessories specifically for workers in industrial manufacturing, food service and hospitality, the medical and pharmaceutical industries, and the oil and gas industries where our innovative flame resistant apparel is designed to self-extinguish for maximum protection.

 

Q.)  Please brief us about the quality policy of your business.

Dickies quality has been built into every product we make. However, we provide an above industry standard Satisfaction Guarantee policy, where we will replace a Dickies product or refund your money if you are not satisfied for any reason.

 

Q) Being a market leader in Performance work wear& Safety footwear, what is your strategy to enhance the sales of “Dickies” safety product in Indian Market?

Our strategy is to “add and extend” our workwear market-leading knowledge to our partners in India.  The “add” part will allow us to develop products that are appropriate for the unique climate and suitability needs of the Indian customer. While the “extend” part allows us to continue to promote the Dickies brand values of comfort, durability and functionality at an affordable price to a new customer.  This unique strategy provides a sales and service model which is superior to traditional Indian suppliers because it delivers an excellent price/quality value equation.

 

Q) What is your future plan or strategy to promote Work safety in India?

We will continue to grow and strengthen the Dickies business in India by setting the new standard for worker safety apparel in a variety of occupations. As workers across multiple industries adopt Dickies workwear, the national level of focus on new safety apparel features and details will raise the bar for protecting the Indian workforce.

How present demand of safety work wear& safety gloves is met in India by present manufactures?

We applaud the progress local companies have made to safely outfit workers. However, at Dickies we know there is no substitute for nearly a century of expertise in safety workwear design, manufacturing, quality assurance, sales and service.

 

Q) What kind of Back support do you provide to your customers &what types of major clients you have?

While we are still assessing the specific back support market needs of India, we offer a great back support belt. Built to protect the lower back from work related injuries during heavy lifting, our lightweight belt includes low-profile back support with multiple hook & loop adjustments.  It includes easy-adjust elastic outer panels, tapered abdominal support panels and flexible nylon stays for contoured support on the job. We design and sell this and other back support products to U.S. retailers and international distributors in the manufacturing, oil and gas, construction and industrial categories.

 

Q) What is your Vision for “Dickies”.

Our vision for Dickies in the Indian market includes becoming a full-service provider of high-quality affordable workwear for a multitude of occupations spanning a variety of industries where we know we can provide better performance, comfort and support on the job.

Any kind of safety message for our readers.

Don’t stand up in a canoe or run with scissors.

But more seriously, count on Dickies workwear to perform on the job when you need it.
